Adsense Payment In Sri Lanka

Adsense publishers of Sri Lanka many have questions and confusions regarding getting payments from Adsense. Take a deep breath because no more confutations from tomorrow. I will explain you step by step how adsense works in Sri Lankan context.

1. You need to verify your address

Once your earnings reach $10, Google will send you a letter by post containing secret PIN. This will be sent to you to verify if your address. You'll be required to insert the PIN in your account and verify your existence! This is the most critical step as you'll be eligible to receive all future payments only after you pass this step successfully. It takes 3-4 weeks for the PIN letter to reach Sri Lanka from USA.

2. Payment Method Available to Sri Lankans

For Sri Lankan publishers, the one and only option so far for receiving payments is by a Standard Delivery check .this will take around 3 to 4 weeks to receive the payment from USA. At present Google do not provide any other payment options for Sri Lankan publishers

3. When you receive your first payment

Soon after you earn $100, you're ready to have your first payment from Google Adsense. However most of the publishers still confused because of the delay in receiving the payment. The real fact is that the Google will only send the cheque Month after you achieve your $100.Eg if you earn $ 100 in May 25^th then the payment will only issue in 25^th of June. However you should need to remove all holds in your account in order to allow adsense to issue the payment.

4. How long will it take to reach the cheque to Sri Lanka?

It will take around 3 to 4 weeks to receive the payment from USA. However adsense will show the payment issuing details in the History Tab of your adsense account.

5. How can you Ancash your cheque

I spoke to many banks in Sri Lanka. The real thing is that you need to have an either saving or a current account with any of the commercial banks in Sri Lanka And the account should be older than 6 months. The bank will take 3/4 weeks to convert your check. However most of the banks charge around $ 5 to $ 10 as processing fee.

What are the steps to follow if you do not receive your payment?

Don’t worry. Google is there to help you. Normally you should receive your PIN or any payment within 4 weeks if there ware no delays in postal .in case if you don’t receive your PIN or payment within 5 weeks, inform Google by Email and then Google will reissue a or Cheque.
